All Hallow's Eve

There is someone in our family who doesn't quite love Halloween as much as I do...

Annabelle actually doesn't mind the scarf one bit; it's the hat she despises. Also, please note her adorable little trick or treat bucket in the left of the photo. All her Halloween accessories are compliments of loving family members. She thanks you! {or rather curses you}

Our apartment is all aglow with pumpkins, lanterns, and candles and feels quite festive. Very sadly, we won't have any trick or treaters knocking at our door. The buildings within our apartment complex are all locked, making the apartment doors interior, private entrances. This is a great feature, but it means no little ghosties or pirates or princesses can get inside our building to knock at our apartment door.

Also, today is my Mom's birthday! I think it is excellent that her birthday falls on one of my very favorite holidays, although I don't know that she necessarily cares to share her birth date with Halloween.
