A Visit with the Gerber Family

This past weekend, Matt and I traveled to Indiana to visit our close friends Chris and Laura. We were so excited to not only get to see them, but their adorable daughter Eden, and to finally meet their 8 week-old baby girl, Addison!

Little 18-month old Eden is such a busy girl! She kept us very entertained.

I snuggled little Addie as much as I possibly could. She is such a good baby...calm, content, and as sweet as can be!

Both of Chris and Laura's girls are super-sweet and very "easy." They're the kind of children anyone would dream of having!

Several weeks ago, I mailed Addie some special onesies I had made for her. It was fun to see her wearing one in person!

I also made Addie a little frame for her nursery:

It was an excellent visit! Matt and I had lots of time with the girls, but since babies and toddlers sleep a lot, we also had plenty of adult-time with Chris and Laura. We dined at a fabulous authentic Mexican restaurant, got to visit Chris and Laura's church on Sunday, played games, watched movies, and got to enjoy some very delicious home cooked meals. It was the perfect visit!

Finally, please keep Chris, Laura, and all of their family in your prayers. Chris' dad passed away about two weeks ago after losing a battle with cancer. Matt and I knew him--he was a very great man, indeed. Chris and Laura are also grieving that their girls won't have any memory of one of their grandpa's. They could really use prayer during this difficult time.
